"With flowing tail and flying mane,
Wide nostrils never stretched by pain,
Mouth bloodless to bit or rein,
And feet that iron never shod,
And flanks unscar'd by spur or rod,
A thousand horses – the wild – the free -
Like waves that follow o'er the sea,
Came thickly thundering on."
- Lord Byron
Okay, I know I haven't updated for a while... but I have a really good excuse this time!... well actually I don't.. I have just been super busy that I haven't even thought about this for awhile.. okay, now I got the excuses are out of the way I can move on to the other stuff!
Tons of things have been happening this year some great, others not so much, but such is life..and it goes on..
oh, this is only going to be a short post, but I promise a longer one real soon, because I am busting to talk about the great opportunity I got earlier in the month when I was lucky enough to get a spot in a trimming course in Tasmania! Yes, it was totally awesome! So I'm now a Trimmer in training! I need all the practice and experience I can get, so please anyone reading this, and needs their horses feet done in this part of South Australia please call/email me :) Also if you are looking for a trimmer elsewhere in Australia please check out this link http://www.australianhooftrimmers.com/findatrimmer.htm
So watch the blog for a coming post, on all the highlights from the course!
So, Donna and Gracie are doing fine, and they absolutely LOVED the rain we had in mid January! (actually I think everyone did!)
And Gracie lets me pick up all four feet now, which I am really excited about! Yay! Go Gracie!
I should probably also mention how tall the little sweetie is getting! she is beginning to tower over poor Donna! But then again that shouldn't really be that surprising... not with those long legs of hers!
Okay that all for now, thanks for reading,
