Depend upon it there comes a time when for every addition of knowledge you forget something that you knew before. It is of the highest importance, therefore, not to have useless facts elbowing out the useful ones.

So first up I would proudly like to announce that since February I am an official Hoof Care Practitioner! Which is so exciting!! A massive thanks to all the wonderful people (and horses) who have helped and supported me so far. Thank You, I couldn’t have done it without you!
(Also just a reminder that if you are in need of finding a trimmer please be sure to check out the http://www.australianhooftrimmers.com/ website where you will find some wonderful trimmers all over Australia, or if you are outside of Australia, please go to http://www.aanhcp.net/ site.)
Bellow I am proud to show off some of the horses feet that I used for my case studies. All of these horses and donkey finished up very happy with my work, and they are the best critics so it is wonderful to see the difference that my work has made.
I really look forward to this continuing hoof journey ;) also on that subject I was very excited to learn that Pete Ramey (the author of our text book and some amazing hoof care books) is coming to Australia!!!!!!!!!!!! This is an amazing and rare opportunity, and I urge horse owners to seize this and get tickets to his clinics which will be held in Canberra and Tasmania. (I already have my ticket booked and am really looking forward to it!!!)

Ruby looks soooo cute! She reminds me a lot of a Thelwell pony! I cannot believe how well she seemed to fit in, in a few short weeks it seemed like she had always been out in the paddock! Lol and hardly any squealing and carry on like mares usually do, it was great! Ruby you are awesome!!
I got the Hoofball out the other day and found that Ruby just LOVES it, it is so funny watching her! (Donna and Gracie wisely think that she is a bit strange, doesn't she know that awful black and red ball has teeth?!? *shakes head sadly* they refuse to go near the thing.. =( )
Oh! and I have a new horse! I really didn't plan it... but she is absolutely gorgeous and has such a sweet nature. Meet Cygnet! I promise there'll be more about her soon. That's it for now, Thanks for reading!
