And We hope you all have a fantastic NEW YEAR!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
The horse moved like a dancer, which is not surprising. A horse is a beautiful animal, but it is perhaps most remarkable because it moves as if it always hears music.

*Donna gives her shoulder a nudge and snorts. 'Okay, okay girl I won't forget!'*
Donna wants me to tell those reading this who own horses should definitely give them an extra carrot or two as a present from her. She says that a pony can never have too many carrots... Hmm..though we both have different ideas about how many is too many....
Well, I am thrilled to report that this week I had the most amazing liberty session with Gracie!
I was inspired to try some different things while I was at Equitana Melbourne in November- I picked up a few ideas after watching a Parelli demonstration.... (Yes! I a Parelwent to Equitana this year!! even better I volunteered, which was awesome! but I'll have more on that in a moment...)
Anyway... Back to Gracie-
I really don't know how to describe it, other than we were connected, two minds working as one. it was...wow.... Gracie really has come along way, my only regret is that I didn't have a photographer at hand to capture it.... While it lasted it was magic, it was such a shock when the spell was broken... See I estimate that Gracie is about 7-8 in human years, which also means that she also has the attention span of an seven year old... so one minute we are in complete sync, and next she is like 'that was fun, bored now, whats next?' heh, but we have plenty of time to work on it! It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun!!!! Hell, I'm still excited even a month after it was on! And I was a volunteer so double the fun! And I even got to met Heath Ryan!!
As a volly you get to see behind the scenes and get to do and see so much interesting stuff while on shift! And getting to met all of the the other wonderful people in the volunteer Team, and the people that do such an amazing job of making Equitana what it is! It was amazing! Thank You!!! And a HUGE thank you to the people at Pryde's EasiFeed for sponsoring the Volunteer program! I can't wait for the next Equitana! (I'll have some more photos up on the News Page soon =))
Just one more thing before I wrap this post up (no Christmas pun intended!) I really feel the need to mention the Masterson Method which I discovered by accident after picking up a book at the library called Beyond Horse Massage. It is really worth looking into, as the results I have had with Donna are amazing! The book has easy to read and follow instructions, and fairly simple to preform on your horse. And the results that I have had are incredible! Give it a try, I promise you your horse will thank you for it!
Wishing you all a very Happy and safe Christmas and All the Best for the New Year!
I would really love to hear from anyone over the holidays who enjoys the blog. It would be great to get some feedback, so please email me! Leave a comment below! Don't be shy, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
As always, thanks for reading!
Love, Light & Peace
